About me

Khourin, The founder of February 2nd, has been brewing and praying over this company since 2014.

After years of crafting, tinkering, and testing, February 2nd launched! Khourin is passionate about people winning and believes everyone has the tools to do so. Khourin has a background in nonprofit as a workforce development professional comprising over 15 years. Also, as a creative, she has played in several creative spaces.

Khourin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a Master of Science degree in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons The New School for Design in NYC.

When there's playtime, Khourin enjoys painting, crafting, and daydreaming about the future of humanity.

Who's that lady on your site?

You're going to see that picture a LOT! That woman is my grandmother, Helen Tisdale. Helen was born February 2, 1929. My grandmother was an entrepreneur, she began sewing wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses once out of the workforce to take care of a relative. I didn't realize this until I matured a bit, but as I watched her in a room she turned into her workshop, sewing and beading gowns, she was also sowing seeds of entrepreneurship. My grandmother now with the ancestors, continues to be a guiding light to February 2nd.

When people think of entrepreneurs, many words come to mind, words such as freedom and wealth. Helen didn't have wealth in a monetary sense, she had wealth in knowledge, grit and faith! This is her legacy.

But... imagine if my grandmother had a consultant? A coach? A framework?
